I need wheels and tires for my 69 Pontiac Firebird?

I put some good style chrome wheels and possibly some low profile tires on my Firebird 69. What size rim and tire can be used not to rub the front or back defenses in packages or turn corners. I've had some wheels and tires as they rubbed badly, especially when other people had never riding with me. please advice. thanks!
